Kindred Hearts

It started out small, to be a place for REFIT and possibly other fitness formats, like yoga, kick boxing and pretty much any type of fitness that could take place within these walls!  After I told my friend, Amy, who’s small business (Amy’s Cherished Events) as a wedding/event planner, was just starting to take off, she told me that I was an answer to a prayer of hers!  She went on to tell me how she’d been looking for and hoping for a place in Monticello, that she could be with and recommend to bridal couples looking for a smaller venue to have receptions! 

That quickly started evolving as a very big part of Kindred Hearts vision!  She also has mentioned many other ideas of how to use the space, from  support groups, to speakers of all kinds!  Then we started talking about quilt clubs, book clubs, class reunions, grad parties, anniversary parties, small business expos and meetings, to funeral luncheons.  Then a local caterer, who’s been watching our progress, thought of different types of cooking classes with a dinner party afterward! 

There have been so many ideas of possibilities that our minds are spinning with excitement to serve Monticello and surrounding communities!  We want it to be a relaxing atmosphere  for people to gather for whatever type of event your heart desires!
